AgriLokal is a product of Behtar Technology Private Limited (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, “company”) and is owned and operated by us. The company is registered in India with its office at 1507, 19th Main, 11th Cross, HSR Layout, Sector, Bangalore, Karnataka- 560102.
We have set out these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) to help ensure that everyone has a safe, respectful and smooth experience on the AgriLokal App. These Terms shall form a binding Agreement between us and the users (referred to as “users”, “you”, “your”) of AgriLokal App. These Terms apply to your use of our website available at www.agrilokal.com and mobile application (“App”) (available at Google Play Store and Apple App Store) (collectively, “AgriLokal”) (“Services”).
These Terms must be read together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines (referred to as “Platform Policies”). By using AgriLokal App and agreeing to the Platform Policies when signing up, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. If you do not agree to any of the Platform Policies, please do not use AgriLokal App.
Please ensure that you are permitted to access and use AgriLokal App under the laws of your jurisdiction.
About AgriLokal
AgriLokal is a platform that enables the Farmers (referred as “users”, “you”) to connect and interact with the Agronomists through one-on-one audio and video calls. The interactions on the platform are entirely voluntary and initiated at the users’ discretion. Users can make the calls on the platform using Coins, which can be purchased within the App. Users also have the option to buy and send virtual gifts to others on AgriLokal App (together, the “Service”).
Your use of our App shall be covered and be in terms with our Community Guidelines including our Platform Policies. Your usage of the App and behavior while interacting on the App is strictly regulated. Please refer to our Community Guidelines to understand the permitted behaviors on the platform.
1. User Registration and Account Responsibility
To access and use the Mobile App while availing the Services, you must create a registered account.
Upon the creation of your account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information including your username, gender and phone number. You consent to regularly update the information after the creation of your account as and when applicable.
You are entirely responsible for the usage on the Mobile App through your account and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and the information accessible through your account.
You are required to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or access or security breach incident related to your account.
You are prohibited from using another person’s account on the platform to avail the Services.
2. Important to Note
Use of the Platform and Services
To access AgriLokal App, you need to create an account by providing your name, phone number, age including the basic farm details. You agree to provide updated and accurate information for your optimized use of the App. You consent to our Privacy Policy for the purposes of handling your data.
You can use AgriLokal App and avail our Services on the App only if you are capable of forming a binding Agreement with us.
You consent that you are responsible for all activity on your account and must keep login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact our support team immediately.
Subject to these Terms & Conditions and the Platform Policies, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and Services thereof.
You agree and consent to receive the communication on your registered phone number, even if the registered phone number is registered under DND/NCPR list under the TRAI regulations. Further you authorise us to share/disclose the information to any third-party service providers or any affiliates, group companies and their authorised agents.
All interactions on the Agrilokal App must follow our Community Guidelines. If you violate them, we may take action such as suspending or permanently terminating your account. You may write to us at support@agrilokal.com if you wish to appeal any action taken.
3. User Content
Upon the creation of your account, you shall create your profile and shall submit the details including the name, mobile number, age and farm details etc. (referred to as “User Content”).
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the User Content submitted by you upon the profile creation. Any content that is false, misleading or violates third-party rights is prohibited on the Platform.
You consent to the usage of the User Content by the Platform for the purposes of operating, promoting, improving and delivering the services of the Platform.
You can delete your account at any time. If you do, we may retain some of your User Content for a limited period in case you choose to reactivate it. To learn more about how we use, store, or delete your information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
4. Restricted Activities
You are not allowed to use the Platform to harass and/or discriminate against others.
You are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent or deceptive or spamming activities.
You consent to not misrepresent your identity or any other affiliated relevant information.
You are not allowed to develop, support or use software, devices, scripts, robots, other types of mobile code or any other means or processes (including crawlers, browsers plugins and add-on or other technology) to scrape or otherwise exfiltrate from AgriLokal App or its Services, or copy details or any other data from the Mobile App.
You are prohibited from copying, reproducing, publishing, adapting, distributing, transmitting, displaying or otherwise exploiting any content of the Platform for any purposes other than in terms of the Platform Policies. All rights not expressly granted in relation to the Services are reserved by AgriLokal App.
You must not circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service or functionalities that restricts or prevent the use of the Services of the Platform.
You are prohibited from collecting or harvesting identifiable information as available to you from the usage of the Mobile App while availing the Services of the Platform.
You retain ownership of any User Content you create and share. However, you must not use the AgriLokal App to violate anyone else's intellectual property rights, including ours. If you use content provided by Agrilokal App, we retain ownership of all related intellectual property rights. Any unauthorised use may result in suspension or termination of your account, or other appropriate action in accordance with our Platform Policies.
You must not use the AgriLokal App to share any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates our Community Guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is obscene, discriminatory, promotes hate or violence, or is harmful to minors. For a complete list of what is and is not allowed on the Agrilokal App, please read our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these policies and take appropriate action against your account.
5. AgriLokal App’s Responsibility and Limitation
AgriLokal App provides a platform for users to connect and interact through one-on-one audio and video calls. We act as an intermediary under applicable Indian law and do not create, control, or endorse the content or interactions shared by users.
AgriLokal App may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms in whole or in part to any third party including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or by operation of law. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligation under these Terms without our prior written consent.
AgriLokal App may share your information with law enforcement or other authorities if required to do so by law, or if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
Responded to a valid to a valid legal request.
Protect the right, safety or property of Agrilokal App, its users or the public.
Prevent fraud, misuse or security risks.
6. Intellectual Property
Your use of the App is and at all time shall be governed by and subject to the laws regarding copyright, trademark, patent and trade secret ownership and use of intellectual property. You agree to abide by laws regarding copyright, trademark, patent and trade secret ownership and use of intellectual property and you shall be solely responsible for any violations of any laws and for any infringements of any intellectual property rights caused by your use of the App through your device.
The Platform owns all intellectual property rights to the Platform or App or Services including the trademarks, device marks/ logos, software/technology and content, excluding User Content. We own all the copyrights in relation to the App.
Any intellectual property which is not specifically mentioned to be owned by AgriLokal App is owned by their respective owners and the owners have a right to take appropriate actions against you for any violation, infringement or passing off.
7. Privacy & Data Processing
In order to learn more about how AgriLokal App collects, uses and share your personal information, please refer our Privacy Policy. Your use of the App signifies your consent to our handling of such information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
8. Third-Party Links & Services
The App and/or platform may contain links to third-party websites and/ or services. These are only provided for your convenience and we not endorse or control these external sites.
Your interactions with Third-Party are soley between you and the Third-Paty are at your own risk and discretion.
9. Inauthentic Profiles
Virtual coins (“Coins”) and gifts are virtual items made available on AgriLokal App as part of our Services. They are not sold to you as physical or tangible goods. When you purchase Coins or use Coins to send a virtual gift, you receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use those digital features within AgriLokal App in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
The Purchase of the Coins is available within AgriLokal App using the payment methods available by us including payment gateways, app store billing systems (Google Play Store, Apply App Store) and other authorized channels. Purchases are processed by third-party payments providers and are subject to their terms, fee and any applicable currency conversion charges. We are not responsible for delays, failures or errors caused by these providers.
The price of Coins will be displayed at the point of sale and will include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for paying all taxes, fees, and charges imposed by your payment provider. Once payment is successfully processed, your account will be credited with the corresponding number of Coins. All purchases are final and non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The Coins on AgriLokal App can be used to access the permitted and available features including connecting and interacting with the Agronomists through one-on-one audio and video calls and sending virtual gifts. Coins on AgriLokal cannot be exchanged for trading on or off AgriLokal App. They may not be combined with promotions, coupons or discount except as allowed by us.
The Coins on AgriLokal App shall automatically expire if not used within six (6) months (182 days) from the date of purchase. Expires Coins are forfeited without notice, refund, or compensation. Coins are non-transferable and cannot be assigned, sold, bartered, or otherwise disposed of except by us. Coins do not constitute property and are not transferable upon death or by operation of law. If your account is suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms & Conditions or applicable law, all Coins in your account will be forfeited without refund or compensation.
Virtual gifts purchased using Coins are a form of digital content provided on AgriLokal App. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be converted back into Coins, and are non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, replace a virtual gift if it is corrupted or fails to function as intended.
The price of Coins may change from time to time due to promotional offers, bundle variations, or other factors determined by us. We may also change expiry periods or usage rules at any time. Your continued purchase and/ or use of Coins after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We may revoke your eligibility to purchase Coins, cancel a transaction, delay or block payment, or restrict payment methods if we believe it is necessary to prevent fraud, comply with applicable law, or address unauthorised or suspicious activity. We may also report suspected fraudulent or unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities.
Coins, virtual gifts and related features are provided on an as is where is basis without warranties, guarantees, or representations of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, and use of Coins and virtual gifts is permitted under the laws of your jurisdiction.
10. Taxes
If AgriLokal App determines it has a legal obligation to collect tax from you in connection with these Terms & Conditions, we will collect such tax in addition to the payment required under clause 9.
11. Account Termination/ Suspension
These Terms & Conditions effect from the date you accept them and continue until terminated.
Your account may be suspended or terminated or restrict your access to AgriLokal App or specific features at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms & Conditions, misused the AgriLokal App or engaged in unlawful or inappropriate conduct (on or off the AgriLokal App). This may include cancelling your access, subscriptions without refund and reporting your conduct to law enforcement.
Termination includes removal of access to your account and deletion of related information, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such action.
Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as those relating to dispute resolution, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity, will remain in effect even after termination.
Your unauthorised use of the AgriLokal App or Services may lead to action under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
The AgriLokal App is provided to you on an as is where is basis. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the AgriLokal App, its Services or the content shared on it. This includes any warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the AgriLokal App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information provided through the AgriLokal App will be accurate.
You consent to use the Agrilokal App and Services at your own risk. We do not monitor user behaviour or conduct background checks and we are not responsible for the actions or conduct of other users, whether on or off the AgriLokal App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the AgriLokal App or Services. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of data, revenue, profits, reputation or claims made by third parties. If we are held liable under applicable law, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) for Services on the Agrilokal App in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnity
You consent to take full responsibility of your actions vis-a-via your usage of AgriLokal App. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Your use of/ or access to the AgriLokal App or Services.
Your violation of these Terms & Conditions including the Platform Policies.
Your infringement of any Third-Party rights, including intellectual property rights, consumer protection rights or privacy rights.
Your negligence or willful misconduct.
Any violation of law or contractual obligations by you.
The obligation under this clause shall survive even after these Terms & Conditions have ended.
We reserve the sole right to manage, settle or resolve any claims brought against us without requiring your prior approval. You agree to cooperate with us at our request in settling or defending any such claims.
14. Eligibility
You can use the AgriLokal App and avail the Services we provide only if you are capable of forming a binding agreement with us. You need to be at least 18 years of age. Further, you must be legally permitted to use the AgriLokal App and Services as per the laws of your country.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Condition shall be governed by the laws of India. The Courts of Bangalore, Karnataka shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions and Platform Policies.
You and AgriLokal App (Parties) agrees and consent to first mediate any disputes or claims between us in good faith and resolve the disputes amicably.
You agree and consent that you will not file or participate in a class action against us.
16. Changes to Terms
AgriLokal App reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without any prior notice.
AgriLokal App reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion. If the changes are material, we shall make reasonable efforts to provide at least fifteen (15) days’ notice before they effect.
Your continues use of the Service after revisions indicate your agreement to the updated terms. If you disagree with the new terms, you must stop using and availing the Services.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms & Conditions which may be updates periodically constitute the entire agreement between you and us, superseding all prior agreement, representation and arrangements between us (whether written or oral), except for the Privacy Policy. This clause does not limit or exclude liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
AgriLokal App has taken reasonable measures to ensure accuracy, authenticity and completeness of the information provided on the Mobile App presenting it on “as is” and “as available” basis.
Communication between you and us may occur electronically, whether through the Mobile App, SMS, Email or posting within the App. By using the Mobile App, you (i) consent to receive communications from the Mobile App electronically, and (ii) agree that all terms, agreement, notices, disclosures and other communications provided by us electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions including the Platform Policies is declared illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed and deleted. The remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect and remain binding and enforceable.
No failure or delay in exercising any right, power or privilege under these Terms & Conditions including the Platform Policies shall operate as a waiver nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right, power or privilege preclude any further exercise of that right of the exercise of any other right, power or privilege.
These Terms & Conditions and any rights or access granted hereunder may not be transferred or assigned by you but may be assigned by us without restriction.
In the event of any discrepancy between the English language version and any translated copies of the Terms & Conditions and the Platform Policies, the English version shall prevail.
18. Spam and misleading content
To keep AgriLokal App trustworthy and safe, we do not allow content that misleads users about its source, purpose, or intent.
The following is strictly prohibited:
Posting deceptive promotions, clickbait, or content with misleading titles or descriptions
Sharing malicious links, including phishing attempts or links to malware
Posting spam or repetitive content meant to manipulate visibility or engagement
Promoting products, services, or offers in a way that is dishonest or unclear
Accounts repeatedly sharing spam or misleading content may be restricted or permanently suspended.

The price of Coins may change from time to time due to promotional offers, bundle variations, or other factors determined by us. We may also change expiry periods or usage rules at any time. Your continued purchase and/ or use of Coins after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We may revoke your eligibility to purchase Coins, cancel a transaction, delay or block payment, or restrict payment methods if we believe it is necessary to prevent fraud, comply with applicable law, or address unauthorised or suspicious activity. We may also report suspected fraudulent or unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities.
Coins, virtual gifts and related features are provided on an as is where is basis without warranties, guarantees, or representations of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, and use of Coins and virtual gifts is permitted under the laws of your jurisdiction.
10. Taxes
If AgriLokal App determines it has a legal obligation to collect tax from you in connection with these Terms & Conditions, we will collect such tax in addition to the payment required under clause 9.
11. Account Termination/ Suspension
These Terms & Conditions effect from the date you accept them and continue until terminated.
Your account may be suspended or terminated or restrict your access to AgriLokal App or specific features at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms & Conditions, misused the AgriLokal App or engaged in unlawful or inappropriate conduct (on or off the AgriLokal App). This may include cancelling your access, subscriptions without refund and reporting your conduct to law enforcement.
Termination includes removal of access to your account and deletion of related information, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such action.
Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as those relating to dispute resolution, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity, will remain in effect even after termination.
Your unauthorised use of the AgriLokal App or Services may lead to action under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
The AgriLokal App is provided to you on an as is where is basis. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the AgriLokal App, its Services or the content shared on it. This includes any warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the AgriLokal App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information provided through the AgriLokal App will be accurate.
You consent to use the Agrilokal App and Services at your own risk. We do not monitor user behaviour or conduct background checks and we are not responsible for the actions or conduct of other users, whether on or off the AgriLokal App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the AgriLokal App or Services. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of data, revenue, profits, reputation or claims made by third parties. If we are held liable under applicable law, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) for Services on the Agrilokal App in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnity
You consent to take full responsibility of your actions vis-a-via your usage of AgriLokal App. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Your use of/ or access to the AgriLokal App or Services.
Your violation of these Terms & Conditions including the Platform Policies.
Your infringement of any Third-Party rights, including intellectual property rights, consumer protection rights or privacy rights.
Your negligence or willful misconduct.
Any violation of law or contractual obligations by you.
The obligation under this clause shall survive even after these Terms & Conditions have ended.
We reserve the sole right to manage, settle or resolve any claims brought against us without requiring your prior approval. You agree to cooperate with us at our request in settling or defending any such claims.
14. Eligibility
You can use the AgriLokal App and avail the Services we provide only if you are capable of forming a binding agreement with us. You need to be at least 18 years of age. Further, you must be legally permitted to use the AgriLokal App and Services as per the laws of your country.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Condition shall be governed by the laws of India. The Courts of Bangalore, Karnataka shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions and Platform Policies.
You and AgriLokal App (Parties) agrees and consent to first mediate any disputes or claims between us in good faith and resolve the disputes amicably.
You agree and consent that you will not file or participate in a class action against us.
16. Changes to Terms
AgriLokal App reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without any prior notice.
AgriLokal App reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion. If the changes are material, we shall make reasonable efforts to provide at least fifteen (15) days’ notice before they effect.
Your continues use of the Service after revisions indicate your agreement to the updated terms. If you disagree with the new terms, you must stop using and availing the Services.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms & Conditions which may be updates periodically constitute the entire agreement between you and us, superseding all prior agreement, representation and arrangements between us (whether written or oral), except for the Privacy Policy. This clause does not limit or exclude liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
AgriLokal App has taken reasonable measures to ensure accuracy, authenticity and completeness of the information provided on the Mobile App presenting it on “as is” and “as available” basis.
Communication between you and us may occur electronically, whether through the Mobile App, SMS, Email or posting within the App. By using the Mobile App, you (i) consent to receive communications from the Mobile App electronically, and (ii) agree that all terms, agreement, notices, disclosures and other communications provided by us electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions including the Platform Policies is declared illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed and deleted. The remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect and remain binding and enforceable.
No failure or delay in exercising any right, power or privilege under these Terms & Conditions including the Platform Policies shall operate as a waiver nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right, power or privilege preclude any further exercise of that right of the exercise of any other right, power or privilege.
These Terms & Conditions and any rights or access granted hereunder may not be transferred or assigned by you but may be assigned by us without restriction.
In the event of any discrepancy between the English language version and any translated copies of the Terms & Conditions and the Platform Policies, the English version shall prevail.
18. Spam and misleading content
To keep AgriLokal App trustworthy and safe, we do not allow content that misleads users about its source, purpose, or intent.
The following is strictly prohibited:
Posting deceptive promotions, clickbait, or content with misleading titles or descriptions
Sharing malicious links, including phishing attempts or links to malware
Posting spam or repetitive content meant to manipulate visibility or engagement
Promoting products, services, or offers in a way that is dishonest or unclear
Accounts repeatedly sharing spam or misleading content may be restricted or permanently suspended.
